I was pleased with the Scan-Tech euro headlight lens... 700

I have e-code Hella (German) 760 lenses on my 1990 740T...after several years one was stoned/cracked on the beltway and I had to look at getting either a new assembly or lens from Hamburg GE or trying to source them from Canada.

Fortunately, I still had the receipt and boxes from the ecodes and started searching the Net...finally found a domestic source in Scan Tech, some don't like a lot of their parts but their main claim to fame as far as I'm concerned is they WILL import anything you need that they make and in my case they even had the part in country!

The new lens dropped right into place and seems to work as well, focus-wise, pattern-wise, etc. as the OEM Volvo part which was Hella.

So if anyone is interested in repairing their ecodes or even buying a complete set, Scan Tech works well for the US.

BTW, I posted a complete list of part numbers for conversion to 760 ecodes...I think they also work for the 940 upt to 93 or so.
The only glitch is that the 760 ecodes are wider than the stock 740 lights so the power dome/sculpting of the 740 hood is off by about an inch on each side of the new 760 (grille). The 740 hood sculpt is wider than the 760 grille.

The advantage is that the 760 lights have integrated foglight and auxiliary (very good second high beam) lights in the assembly
