tranny fluid in the radiator? 1993 960 900

My tranny stopped working when it's warm, 1993 960. I read on these posts about the the possibility of coolant leaking into the tranny fluid, ruining the transmission. I finally got around to draining the coolant from the radiator, it definately had tranny fluid in the coolant! After draining the tranny fluid I could not tell if the coolant was in the fluid, tranny fluid looked pink, maybe a little bubbly? If tranny fluid was in the radiator should I assume that the coolant got to the tranny? I will be replacing the radiator in a couple of days.
My plan is to clean out all hoses, ect.. to radiator, install new radiator. Flush tranny replace filter, add new fluid, and see if it will drive again. Any advice?
