1984 244 with 180,000 miles. Oil light comes on while driving on freeway. My daughter get the car across 3 lanes of traffic to the shoulder where the car dies. She thinks it took maybe just a minute or two to get to the shoulder. She checked the oil, it was ok. Engaged the started a couple of times but the car did not start. She does not know if it sounded normal or not. The car is in adjoining state. Where do I start with testing and diagnosis? There is not a kill circuit tied to the oil pressure system is there?
