A while back there was a post about doing a front suspension rebuild but having the left side sag lower than the right even with all new parts. There was some talk about the upper left and right spring seats -- the metal "cap" that goes on over the top of the spring underneath the upper journal bearing -- being different. This was news to me, so I finally had a chance to check my handy parts fiche. Guess what ? They ARE different. The part numbers are as follows:

LEFT: 1205823-6

RIGHT: 1228515-1
