Here are a few shots of my M41 rebuild.
All a part and cleaned up - no wear! These things are amazing.

I buffed the outside of the case until it was smooth and then treated it to a coat of paint.

The top had a little wear, so I notched the warn sides with a small file. Then once it was cleaned out, a 1/16" aluminum plate was glued in with JB-Weld. Then ground to fit, and the threads were cut by hand. Should work. Shifts great on the engine stand.

This is the finished product. Far to clean to put in the car!
