A/C question

Hey guys,

A few months ago I purchased a 98 S90 SE. Since I purchased it in winter time I didn't realise the a/c does not work. Today I took a look and once the a/c is turned on in idle, the compressor clutch comes on for about 5 sec, then turns off for 5 sec, then comes back on, and it does this the entire time. Any tips on what I should do next?
