My 1991 240 (245,000 miles) has recently had this problem. I'm driving along at 70-80 and the front of the car begins to shake, pretty violently. Not knowing what to do I put the car in 2nd, the car still was shaking in the front but less severe. I then put it back in Drive and it was OK. This happened twice, and I have no idea what it could be. Any ideas would be appreciated.
