Hey everyone,
For a while now I've been selling some custom made 1" aluminum wheel spacers for the 14X, 24X, 7XX, and 9XX Volvos on eBay. Here's a link to an auction ad if you want to see what I mean:

A few people have e-mailed me and asked if I have any spacers for the 1800s and 122s. So far I haven't made them but it got me wondering how much interest there would be in them if I were to have some specially made. I don't know exactly what the cost would be - it would depend a lot on how much interest there was and how many I get made - but for now let's assume somewhere around $140 - $150 USD for a pair. It could be a bit more or a bit less but I'm not sure. I'm thinking about having them made 1 inch (25 mm) thick.
Anyhoo, would any of you want to get a pair or a full set of them to fit an 1800/122 if I went and had some made ? Please e-mail me off list at rojSPAM_OUT@telus.net (remove the SPAM_OUT part to e-mail me) and let me know.
Also please tell me what bolt and hole pattern you'd want. There are a few options:
For Amazons and 1800s up to and including 1969:
5 x 4.5" holes and 5 x 4.5" studs - Maintains old style standard bolt pattern. You can use the same wheels you're using now with these ones.
5 x 4.5" holes and 5 x 108 mm studs - Converts old bolt pattern to newer Volvo bolt pattern used on 1800E/ES, 200, 700, 900 and most FWD Volvos.
For 1800 E/ES
5 x 108mm holes and 5 x 108 mm studs - Keeps same bolt pattern so pretty much have to use rims for Volvo.
5 x 108 mm holes and 5 x 4.5" studs - Converts to old style (more standard) bolt pattern so can use a greater variety of rims to fit some Fords, Chryslers and others. Can't use newer Volvo rims with it though.
So please let me know if you might be interested in getting in on such a group buy and what bolt and hole pattern you'd prefer.
Thanks,
Roj (Roger)
