dark night of the volvo..instrument lights not working/89 240 automatic 200

thinking it was the cluster i have tried about 3 different ones and numerous bulbs,still nothing!does any one know which wire of either the "moon "shaped connector or "half-moon" shaped connector supplies the power to those two little bulbs?or how does power get up there?everything else works.any suggestions?....thanks in advance,Kris
