My Electronics Update Plan 444-544

OK- here's my last plea for ideas, support & wisdom for a while...I promise. And I'll post some pictures in the next few days.
Just so I can create a logical plan for how to attack our little PV, I've been researching the logical steps to make the electric system in the car better, faster, stronger, blah blah blah. I'm trying to be as resourceful (cheap) as possible. Here's my plan. I'd appreciate your comments:

1. Totally re-wire the car using a generic pre-made wiring harness from e-bay featuring GM style connectors, modern fuse block etc.
2. AC Delco 1 wire alternator conversion
3. Add relays to the head-lights. Can I pirate some from a junk yard car? Which makes & models and where located in the car?
4. Add electric fan in front of radiator
5. Add a pair of round, period appropriate extra tail-lights (I've seen period correct rally cars with similar lights)
6. Change brake light switch to trigger from pedal action rather than brake pressure
7. I want an FM stereo but like the looks of the stock Motorola AM. Suggestions please??
8. Turn indicator switch is broken. Ideas?
9. Do I want to get rid of the floor mounted dimmer switch?
10. Oh yea, H-4 headlights too.

Thanks guys! I'm doing a junk yard raid (100 mile round trip) on Monday and I want to be armed & dangerous with a hefty shopping list.
