Factory Block Heater for Alaskan Volvo 700 1989

Hello again, Brickers:

I am trying to get my Brick ready for -60 F temps that I expect will hit the Interior of Alaska this winter, which is not too far off up here. I contacted the Volvo dealer in Anchorage to get a price quote for a heater, which I got (Block Heater Part #1189805 for $93.14 + delivery) and the local NAPA shop has a block heater for $32.00. The dealer could not tell me if my block, which is from a 1994 940 sedan, uses the freeze plug heater or the bolt-on model which fits into a cast-in receiver. Does anyone know if the 1994 2.3L Turbo block uses the bolt-in block heater or the freeze plug one? Thanks again in advance for your help. I tried doing research on the internet but wasn't able to find out anything other than the part number is indeed for a 2.3L Volvo engine. Best to all, and keep on Brickin' !
