repairing 200/700/900 series plastics, c. 1990

I have a 1990 740 in silver with black interior. I am wondering whether the interior plastics will bond properly with black colored epoxy glue. Specifically, I would like to repair the trim covering the floor-to-ceiling pillar between the front and rear windows. The driver side one in my car is broken and cracked in several places. Also, the "cup" on the door side of my driver seat (where the power seat controls would go on a nicer trim level?) has broken off as well.

Can these be repaired with epoxy?

Finally, under the hood, the plastic "guard" that covers the area between the radiator and the grille has problems. This is the same piece into which the radiator tie-down brackets are screwed. This is made of a different type of plastic than the interior bits and does not seem well-suited to epoxy. What has happened to it is that the plastic around the brass inserts for the radiator bolts has started to crack and crumble. I am very afraid that my labors to replace my radiator will be pointless if these guys break free.

Epoxy?

New parts?

Used parts from an independent Volvo shop?

Yards are not an option here in my area.

Thanks for any responses . . .
