new car 700 1989

I got a 740 sedan as a winter car. After some fixing up, new (used) driveshaft, new solenoid for the OD, and some exhaust work at the rear, used tires from Rob it seems good to go as a winter car.

It has auto everything so it is less fun to drive than the beloved 122 but there might be a time (proably) that I can't drive a stick.

There are so many gee-gaws that comes with it. Sunroof, (what everyone needs in a Minnesota winter) heated seats, (more practical given the fact it will driven mostly in the winter) and cloth seats that manage to pick up every bit of dog hair. Air condtioning needs a charge; don't know that I will in the spring if I am still driving. The rear windows don't roll down, not a problem as I would never leave my dogs in the car except in winter anyhow because of the black seats. Can't figure that one out because neither the power roll-ups or the manual ones seen to work.

My question is, I don't know what some of the buttons are on the dash, ect. Are the buttons between the power windows power locks switches. What is that switch on the dash just to the left of the steering column mean?

The color is maroon. It looks great on the passeger's side, and received (or gave) a big side swipe on the driver's side which extends from the front to the rear wheel well.

Anyone have turn signal lens and the reflective part that runs under the headlights and turn signal? Can't afford to pay much as I am now on disability and the government expects me to live on $850 a month, but that is another story.
