Brake Lights Not Working - Help 200

I am new to this forum, but not new to auto repair. I am not sure I posted my question correctly before, so I am trying to post it again. Thanks for your tollerance.

None of my brake lights work and all of the bulbs are good. In fact, I have applied 12 volts to the one of the lights and all of them are illuminated. I searched the posts and found the post indicating that I should check the BFWR. I have found this and removed it. To trace down the voltage, I have checked the voltage on the blue wire with a red stripe on it when I pushed down the brake pedal. There is no voltage on this pin when the car is off or on. All of the fuses are good and there is voltage at the fuse at all times.

I also checked the wire going to the brake switch. The switch is closed when the brake pedal is released and open when the brake pedal is depressed. Is this correct? There was two wires going to the switch. One that is blue with a red stripe and one that is white with a black stripe. None of them had any voltage on them when the car is turned off. The white with black stripe had 12 volts on it when the car was turned on. Neither of them seemed heavy enough to hold the current needed to light the lights.

Is there a relay somewhere in the circuit that I need to find? Is there a source for the wiring diagram? What am I missing?

I need to send this car back to college soon and I really must solve this.

Thanks for your help.

Rodney
