I was in Central Pennsylvania the other day and happened to se a Volvo for sale on the side of the road. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me at the time.

Its a 79 242 DL with 115K miles showing. From the condition of the car it is probably the correct mileage. It is mustard yellow with dark chocolate brown cloth interior. The body is very good--only minor rust starting along the seam of the rocker and quarter panel on the right side. (just surface rust, not a hole yet) Plenty of door dings but no evidence of any serious crash damage. Floors look very solid. Interior is nice--clean, no rips tears or stains. It is a straight 4 speed. The only modification form stock is a set of somewhat scuzzy Coronas. I was told that it is in good running condition. The asking price is $1000. It looks well worth it to me if anyone is looking for a nice early 242.
