91 940 se speedo inop.
Where is the sensor located for the speedo on an independant suspension?
I`m thinking its on the top of the carrier. Also a question about The
speedo. Its pretty much the same as the post already mentioned with the
exception that the speedo needle will sometimes jump while the car is
sitting still. There are no warning lights on and the mileage counters
stop at the same time. All of the screws on the back of the cluster are
tight and there are no evident breakages in the printed circut board.
The battery terminals have been checked and cleaned. The grounds will be
checked. ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT! Also what kind of cd covers the most for
the 91 940 se? I believe it might be cheaper to go this route rather than
volvo shop manuals which my good mechanic doesn`t have for this model.
Gotta love volvos!
