No #6 Fuse connection to Fuel Pump on 90 240 200

Having intermittent dying and before replacing Fuel pump relay wanted to do diagnostic on watching main fuel pump amps. Removed fuse and put jumper across fuse, and put meter on to test amps. Found that the main fuel pump is NOT connected to the #6 fuse, nothing is. Fuse cover says it is, but pulled the fuse and car runs fine. Have a wiring diagram that shows fuel pump connected via the in tank pump relay to fuse #4 supply side, and pulled Fuse #4 and hear the in tank pump stop, but car still runs fine. See that there is no wire except 12volt connection to battery to the #6 fuse, and no other wire connected.

Is there a fuse somewhere else? for the main fuel pump? Am pretty sure the car was not altered. Wiring diagram from online source also shows a wire off the fuel pump relay going to the #4 fuse and only the in tank pump is fused. The Red wire from the battery goes straight to the fuel pump relay.

Anyone familiar with this dilema?
