Salvage Yard Sorrow

A friend recently told me of a "pull your own parts" salvage yard, and told me that parts were reasonably priced. Went there Saturday looking for some bumper mouldings and whatever else I might find. The yard was very well organized, all cars had been drained of fluids, had all wheels removed, and were up on sturdy stands. I left with three corner mouldings, one long rear piece, and a fuse cover for my 93 240 wagon, and spent a grand total of $3.48. The down part of this excursion, was finding a 81 240 with 61K, that was well maintained, no rust what so ever, and only minor front end damage. It was a shame to see such a nice piece off the road for good. If anyone is looking for a nice drivetrain, consider a drive to Detroit.
