snow tire size ?

I have a 92 240 sedan with 14" tires and have been looking for snow tires. I found some good Contis but they are on 15" rims already for $80. I want to know if this will effect my traction, or will they rub as the required size is 14". Just thought someone would know. Thanks Doug
