If the snows are no bigger than 195/60-15, you'll be fine and your speedometer will be correct.
I've actually been going through snow tires and spare wheels, getting things ready for winter. Good sizes for a 240 sedan would include:
185/70-14
185/65-15
195/60-15
Of course, what did I get for free? A pair of 195/65-15's from a late model Cross Country. But Gislaved Nord*Frosts are hard to find, so I took em. They'll be on the back of my 88 wagon, where the size difference will not matter, as it doesn't have ABS. My 92 sedan would complain about the tire size mismatch, and the ABS warning light will come on. For your car, you too will want to make sure that all 4 tires are very close in diameter, or the ABS computer gets all unhappy.
If you're getting a set of 4, on Volvo rims, all will be well. Make sure that they are RWD rims, not from an 850 or S70/V70.
