Power sunroof switch fix? 700 1991

Hi, Has anyone found a fix for the frequent failure of the sunroof power switch?
Maybe a compatible higher current rated switch or have the switch control a relay?
My "brand new from the dealer because no one else had one" lasted 6 monthes before starting it's "maybe I'll work or maybe I won't" act. This included several monthes of winter where it didn't get used.

Ideas?
