PCV valve on a B18/B20 with SU carbs? 120-130

Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a PCV valve on a B18/B20 that uses the SU carbs? There is a ventilation hose that goes from the spark-arrester on the dipstick side of the engine, over to the intake manifold. It seems this would create a constant vacuum leak, unless there were a PCV valve in that hose somewhere.
