ATF cooling line leak 200 1987

I have a leak in the ATF cooler line. I haven't looked at it real hard yet, just drove up on ramps for a quick peek, but thought I'd make a post sooner rather than later.

Under the transmission pan run the two cooling lines, and there is some kind of a bracket at that point which is a machined piece of metal and, on the side facing the ground, a bolthead maybe 13mm or so. I am getting about a drip every 10 seconds when the car is running, but nothing when the engine is off. My guess is that it is just worn there, and the lines need to be replaced.

Couple of questions--and again, I haven't had time to look at it more closely, and there wasn't much help in Bentley's.

I didn't want to just tighten the bolt, because there's some rust evident, and why make the problem worse? I also didn't want to just remove the piece and have a look in case there might be some small piece that I don't need to lose.

Anyone have any experience/wisdom about this?

Thanks,
Brian
