i need/want to check the timing on my 1989 740GL because i am still running rich after changing just about every sensor on the car.
my question is: can i just hook up a timing light? or do i have to disconnect somthing, because the timing is supposed to self-adjust?
right now i just connected the timing light and its showing 0...shouldnt it be showing like 12?
