1800E in the Movies 1800

Hi,

While waiting for the Cardinals-Mets game to start I was watching German TV (Bavarian 3d Channel) that is broadcasting the movie "Der Bulle und Das Mädchen", a German/Austrian movie from 1984 staring Jürgen Prochnow who also stared in "Das Boot".

Anyway, the interesting part is that star drives what looks like a 1972 1800E. The car is red and in great condition. While escaping from the police he drives the car into a lake (gasp-gasp), has it pulled out the next day, and then drives it away.......how's that for a Volvo indorsement?
