NTC check 900 1995

Hi,

i am not sure if my engine temperature sensor is ok.

checked for its voltage when engine is cold (~20C) - the voltage is ~2.5V. When the engine warms the voltage drops to 0.7V and after half a minute suddenly rises to >4V and when engine warms up to its operating temperature and keeps droping till 2.5V.

When engine is cold, the resistance of the sensor is ~7kOhms, and when engine is hot, the resistance is ~200Ohms.

Is my sensor ok?
if its ok why the voltage so dramatically rises during warm up?
