The headlight wipers on my 95 960 work - sometimes! Although it seems that the more times I go to use my windshield pissers (squirters) the headlight wipers get stuck in mid position. I then have to get under the car and tap the motor housing with a small hammer, fumble around with turning the car on and off, and driving it around over bumps to get the fricken things to park.

I had it! I found the big (think it has four wires) harness to them and unplugged them; however, I don't know how, but it made my head lights act real weird, and my fog lights no longer functioned. So, long story short - had to plug them back in.

What can I do to immobilize them permanently? Actually I'd like to remove them and find a plug (any ideas) to fill the hole in the front bumper. However, it looks as though the whole front bumper has to come off the car to clear the shaft in order to remove the headlight assembly to unscrew the motor from the bottom, but then again, if i unplug the motors my headlights act screwy. Someone please chime in and help.
