fuel pump R & R 700

I'm getting to replace the fuel pump on my 1990 740 GL.
I read up on the FAQ's and printed some Volvo diagrams.
The diagrams refer to p/n 999 5448, and the FAQ's refer to about a 5" hose clamp to replace the seal on the tank.
Are these the same, necessary for reassembly?
