Mitsubishi turbo TD04 improvement/modifications 900 1994

Have there been any improvements/modifications to the mitsubishi turbo TD04 installed in the 1994 940 turbo's that can be added/made without fabricating/modifying the existing exhaust manifold/exhaust down pipe, and does anyone have any information on turbo rebuilders/balancers in the South Florida area.
