Fan Switch 900

I noticed that on my 94' 960 that I do not have a fan temp switch sensor located in the upper passenger corner of the radiator like on my 760. The location is plugged with a rubber grommet. The absence of the sensor has not affected fan operation. I am just curious if there is a temp sensor for the fan somewhere else.
