I'm trying to get the heated seats working on my 1990 740. It seems to be the relay, as I turned on the switch for heated seats while holding the relay. The relay clicks on for a few seconds, then clicks off. I priced a relay at fcpgroton - $100 - whoa! No way I'm spending that, especially because one of the kids will be driving the car mostly. I took the casing off of the relay and have looked the circuit board over with a magnifying class, but I don't see any soldering connections that look faulty. Maybe I'm missing something. Any ideas?
