85 245 Console Lights Out 200 1985

Just bought a 1985 245 manual with 200k. The lights behind the heat controls don't seem to work (at least I presume there are lights behind there). The rear defrost switch light comes on intermittently and the hazard light switch comes on when the switch is in the on position, but there haven't been any lights in the heat/AC controls. Any ideas?
