Alright, i have to replace my radiator before driving 8 hours to Pittsburgh on Friday (i just found out that the hose fitting is ready to blow, and I don't want that happening on the highway). Since my company xmas party is on thursday night, I have to do this on wednesday night. I'll be doing this in the parking lot of my apartment complex with a bare minimum of tools and no ramps. So I've got my work cut out for me.
From what i can see, this is the way it will go:
1. drain the radiator and tranny cooling lines when I disconnect them.
2. detach the the electric fan
3. undo the top mounts for the radiator (are there any bottom mounts to be undone?)
4. pull out the old radiator and drop in the new one
5. reverse the process
I saw that I need a torx wrench for some of the screws. Is there any other piddly little BS problem that I'm overlooking here?
Thanks.
