I need to rebuild or replace the Gerling calipers on my 144S. At the same time I plan to change the brake hoses. Two of them have already been replaced recently.

I was wondering about the metal loop line on the caliper that then attaches to the one brake hose. I need to replace those as that broke while trying to remove them. NAPA said they have remanufactured calipers. Assume that would not include that small metal line. Would one have to make that line?
