S90 Headlight motor.... What the.....? S90-V90

I am thinking about buying a 1998 S90. Among other things the drivers headlight is pointing into the trees. On the fuse panel there is "headlight level adjust" What the....? Can the head lights be manually alligned or is that some gizmo to replace for $$$? Can someone shed some light on this for me.
