Brake parts and Rear Brake procedures 200 1989

I've been reading online how-tos for replacing brake pads and rotors...I'm getting ready for my first solo brake job. How much more difficult are the rear brakes (pads & rotors) than the fronts?

Also, I've had brembo rotors recommended to me. Are brembo rotors and Volvo pads a good enough combination? Should I stick with Volvo parts?

Teach me.
