164....What's a fair price? 140-160

Hello,
I just missed an auction on E-bay for a 71 164 103k, One family owned. The reserve was not met at 2,375.00. The little beauty has some rust on the floor panels, a quarter size spot on the passenger door (lower inside), might need a gasket replaced, hasn't been driven much since 03', but appears to have been well maintained. They have all service records since new, my question is I live in Ohio and the car is in Ohio, the gentleman wrote me back and said he may lower the price if I was still interested, but not being to familiar with the 164's I don't know what they go for. I emailed him back to see if it still for sale, and if so could I come take a peek at her. I have always loved the look of the 164's but they seem to be few and far between to find. Any thoughts and opionens would be greatly appreciated.
As always, Thanks so much in advance!
