95 960 clogged windshield drainage holes 900 1995

I've been trying to clean out my windshield drainage holes and the one side is clogged. Any suggestions on how to clear it out? Heard that if I squirted the hose down the holes they would just clear out. Well that didn't work. Do I have to remove the wheel well to eliminate all the leaves and gunk, because it seems that all the water comes out down there. Help!
