I just got my first Volvo. Its has been in the one family since new, and has "only" 200k km on the clock. Serviced by a Volvo dealer all its life, and the car is in as good condition as you could expect. So I feel a bit guilty about adding a boost valve, but I am only winding the boost up a wee bit. As my girl will be driving it aswell, and does not "need" extra boost, I am making it switchable from standard to a wee bit more. Just put some nice Mobil 1 in there, and added a K&N filter. That's it. Loving the leather, sunroof and heated seats, and the sound is great from the original speakers for the stereo. Just wish it was a wagon. Oh well, can't have everything. Question: how solid is the transmission in these, the 4 speed auto. I think its a ZF 4hp20, but haven't been under to take a look. I know from previous experience that these can be pretty solid, but at around 200k has anyone had one let go?
