900 series brake pads. what are u using?

hi all
i feel like the 240 brakes are much better than the 900 series brakes in terms of stopping power.
in the past i used organic pads on my 240s from the nearest auto parts store with out problems.
i would like to get some good pads for my 95 940T and wanted to know the results of the more experienced.
i was also thinking (and could be wrong) the organics would put less wear on the rotors compared to a very hard pad?
i just dont know.
