Friend just called and neded to replace his auto tranny in his 1986 700. Ok I know this is the 200 board but wait. I have a junk 1985, I think, 244 turbo auto tranny I use as a parts car. It has an auto trany that I do believe is an AW-70. This is an auto tranny with overdrive. The 700 car has a ZF-4HP22 auto tranny without overdrive. QUESTION,, will it swap? The 85 244 AW-70 into the 86, 700 that origanally contained the ZF-4HP22? I really need help on this one as he is stuck several hundred miles from here and taking the wrong tranny that far will be just wrong. Thanks for any help you can provide...MAx:>)
