Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

May this find you well. How many years of service or and/or miles did you get from a HEPU water pump?

It also would be useful to know:
(a) in what part of the country your car lives
(b) what coolant you use (e.g., Volvo brand, other Green, Dexcool, etc.)
(c) how the HEPU pump failed (e.g., stopped pumping, seal failure/bad leak, etc.)

While Volvo brand water pumps plainly are top-notch, I have read conflicting reports about HEPU pumps. I'd like to get as many reports as possible, from as many places as possible. Comments from MasterTechs - who have vast experience - are especially valuable.
