what's the next best model, after the '94/'95 940 turbo?

Hi,
I've been looking for a '94/'95 940 turbo here in Portland, Oregon, but not having any immediate success, so I was wondering what Brickboard users think of other models?

I've driven Volvos all my life (literally) and am looking for a solid engine that I can build on and increase the performance.
