Lucid pegged a post I saw earlier about a U-joint problem that was viberating on deceleration. I have just the reverse problem. 1989 244 M47. I have a bad viberation while under load around 3K RPM's. At lower rpm's there is no noticable noise, but hit around 3K and it is louder than the radio. I have rerouted the exhause, changed the Torque and trailing arm bushings, used poly ones. A new clutch, pressure plate and bearings. New carrier bearing and mount. Driveshaft was marked for proper reinstallation. The trans(manual M47) mount is new and the motor mounts are in good shape. The tranny was replaced about 10 months ago with a used later model 740, no noise I can here in it. I drive around 1K miles a week and the noise is starting to scare the crap out of me. I can just see me on the side of the Interstate getting beer bottles thrown at me while walking to the closest service station..Any help will really be appericated..Thanks ..Max:>)
