oil seperator 200

I'm replacing my flame trap and all of the hoses that go to it. I'm sure the oil seperator is full of crap. Should I just clean it the best as I can and reinstall (with new o-ring)? Or should I just buy a new one. To do this I assume that I will have to remove the throtle body (good time to clean) and intake. Any tips to make this job any easier? Looks like a lot of work but I know sometimes looks can be decieving. I appreciate help from others experience.

Thanks
