How hard is it pull a Hall effect distributor? 200 1986

OK, that broken connector on the distributor is trying to get expensive. Broke the Hall Effect sensor for sure. Also there is no fire on the coil.

A rebuilt distributor is almost $575 plus labor. A junker is $125 and there is the pick ur part option. Before one heads off to the land of pull ur own, need to ask a question. How hard is to to pull one off an 86? There are two at the local yard and both had distributors as of two weeks ago. What kind of tools do you need, only want to walk in there with enough. The letter V is in the very back of the lot. And of course it rained today to the mud will be waiting.

Also were would you start with a no fire. Changed both harness and she was purring before all of this.

Regards,

PT
