Spinner hubcaps ??? 700

Just put the new wheels and tires on my 745. The wheels are the 15" Aero type with the big flat stainless steel hubcaps. I ended up going with the 205/60 tires, and will comment on them after I've driven on them a bit more. It was warm today, and I had all the windows down. I kept hearing a weird rattling noise. I thought it was the cheap stainless steel exhaust tip I put on a few months ago (a 2.5" single, angled cut, rolled end---trying to make it look more finished than a dingy rusty piece of pipe---not ghetto) that doesn't fit all that well, but when getting something out of the back I shut the door and heard a noise from the right rear wheel, which turned out to be the hubcap. While it was on there securely enough (not in danger of falling off) it was free to rotate, and even wobble slightly and rattle against the wheel. All the others fit snugly and did not move. I bent the tabs out further, which helped a little. I swapped it for one of the others. The problem hubcap fit tightly on the front wheel, and the former front hubcap rattled on the rear wheel. For a temporary fix I put three layers of electrical tape inside the center hole of the wheel, and strips of it where the edge of the hubcap contacts the wheel. Has anyone else run into this problem, and if so, what did you do to solve it?
