My volvo ( and my modified suspension) saved my life !! 200 1992

While going to work today, I was cruising at 60mph on a 4 lane interstate and this guy in a cherokee stopped infront of me, just stopped, no signal, brake lights didnt work. I slammed on my brakes (w/ ABS) and swerved toward the breakdown lane to avoid him. My car stayed on course, my ABS system worked flawlessly, I got my rear out a little and easliy corrected then my front was heading to the gaurdrail and I recorrected and headed back out on the travel lane. It happened in a blink of an eye, but my car didnt even sway, didnt even skid, didnt nose dive and skirt all over the place, it felt like a damn race car, After I unloaded my underwear, I was so impressed with my 210,000mi volvo I had to get it washed..Which gave me enough time to calm down before I went to work. I gotta give alot of credit to the volvo ABS system, and those IPD sway bars, which with out Im sure I would have missed the jerk infront of me and nailed the gaurd rail. or w/o ABS I would have just plowed into him.
However I gotta think that my auto-cross and messing around in parking lots and snow drifting helped me out just a little. It all happened so fast, yet i was able to recoginize the feeling of the slide/skid and it felt pretty natural. Well, not the part of skidding past someone in the breakdown lane at 50mph, thats not too natural, but you get the idea. I am one impressed volvo owner.
Oh yeah, and the cops are looking for the driver..since he caused the accident behind me.

What do I have in my car: 1992 volvo 240 wagon
ipd cam/cam gear-bilstien struts/shocks-ipd, lowered sport springs-ipd 25mm sway bar fr+Rear-ipd strut tower brace(upper and lower) all new bushings, slotted rotors, metal master pads- 16x7 mille migle 5 spoke rims on BFG 205-55-16-Z- poly rear bushings-

My inner tie rods were on the way out before this, but they are toast now.
I think I did mess something up in my suspension, but atleast I didnt hit anything.. yay :-)
