89 760 Turbo Still Worth It 700

I finally graduated, and now that I'm making decent money, I want to fix up my brick. It's been off the road now for about six months. The shocks and struts are completely gone. One of the rear springs is cracked. The body is pretty solid, but it's got 155K on it. I know generally that isn't a big deal for a brick. Anyway, I've had a few years to think about what I'm going to do to it, and I was planning on giving it the big ipd makeover. I wanted Bilstein HD's all around, sport springs, etc... And now when I look at ipd's web site... it seems that support for my model is disappearing. The rear conversion kit to get rid of the Nivomats is not in stock, and costs twice as much as one for an earlier model. There are no sport springs. (I thought that the Nivomat conversion kit made the car compatible with them.)

Anyway, after looking over everything, I'm starting to wonder if I'd be better off getting a different brick to start with. Although I love my 760 (it was my first car), I could get a 740 and spend a ton less to tweak it. If I look hard enough I coul probably even find one with a stick, which is a big plus. Any advice?
