Howdy everyone.
I have been planning on a soundproofing project on my 1990 244 in the near future and have been doing some research. (there are some good postings here of course but I found a site that lays out some very nice product comparisons.

(just in case that someone else is looking into this endeavor. ; )

P.S. I spoke with the author of the site and it seems that the company "edead" has converted over to butyl based products. I am thinking of using them for the sound barrier portion. (From what I can tell they are more are less equal to the competition but cheaper.)
